Welcome to SLC Community Choirs
Home of Solfege and Crescendo Choirs
Welcome to the SLC Community Choirs website! We are a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing exceptional music experiences and education to singers of all ages in the Southern Lancaster County community. Our organization is unique in that we are not affiliated with any one school or church, but instead, we are committed to serving the entire community.
Crescendo, one of our choirs, offers a fantastic singing opportunity to individuals in Grade 9 through adult. Our choir rehearses on a weekly basis and performs throughout the fall and spring, offering you the chance to showcase your talents in front of a supportive audience. Our choir repertoire typically includes a wide range of music, from folk tunes and show tunes to spirituals, multicultural selections, and contemporary choral pieces.
We are proud of our commitment to providing enriching musical experiences to our members and the community, and we hope you will consider joining us. Our choir is open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced singers, and we provide a welcoming environment for you to develop your musical talents and make lasting connections with others who share your passion for music. Thank you for visiting our website, and we look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming performances!
'Tis the Season of Giving!
Help Us Support the OASD Music Events Fund
The SLC Community Choirs is proud to partner with the OASD Music Events Fund to support the growth and development of young musicians in the Oxford Area School District. This fund empowers ensemble music directors by providing financial resources to bring in guest educators, clinicians, and professional performers. These collaborations offer students valuable opportunities to learn from experts, enhance their skills, and experience music in new and inspiring ways.
Your generosity helps enrich music education programs, fostering creativity, growth, and a lifelong love of music among students.
