Welcome to the SLC Community Choirs website! We are a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing exceptional music experiences and education to singers of all ages in the Southern Lancaster County community. Our organization is unique in that we are not affiliated with any one school or church, but instead, we are committed to serving the entire community.

Crescendo, one of our choirs, offers a fantastic singing opportunity to individuals in Grade 9 through adult. Our choir rehearses on a weekly basis and performs throughout the fall and spring, offering you the chance to showcase your talents in front of a supportive audience. Our choir repertoire typically includes a wide range of music, from folk tunes and show tunes to spirituals, multicultural selections, and contemporary choral pieces.

We are proud of our commitment to providing enriching musical experiences to our members and the community, and we hope you will consider joining us. Our choir is open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced singers, and we provide a welcoming environment for you to develop your musical talents and make lasting connections with others who share your passion for music. Open Auditions for the

2025–2026 Season

Do you love to sing? Whether you’re a seasoned vocalist or just starting out, we’d love to hear your voice!

SLC Community Choirs is holding open auditions for our upcoming 2025–2026 season, and we’re looking for passionate singers of all voice parts—especially Tenors and Basses—to join our warm, welcoming choral family.

🗓️ Rehearsals & Season Info:

Rehearsals: Tuesday evenings
Location: Quarryville, PA
Season Runs: September 2025 – May 2026
Concerts: Two major concerts per season with additional community events

🎵 Who Can Audition?

Our choir welcomes adult singers of all experience levels. No formal training is required—just a love of music, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to regular rehearsals and performances.

🎤 What to Expect:

Auditions are relaxed and supportive. You’ll meet with our director for a brief vocal assessment—no need to prepare anything in advance. We’re simply looking to learn more about your range and voice part.
